  3. This screen allows you to (1) select one of four report types, (2) specify one
  4. of three output devices for the report, (3) decide whether to list all of
  5. the movies or just some of the movies in your file, and (4) decide how you
  6. want your report sorted.
  7. 1.  Report Type:
  8.  
  9.    A.  Tape labels      Prints labels for VCR cassette tapes.  Five choices
  10.                         for type of label.  1. Regular  2. VHS Top  3. VHS
  11.                         Spine  4. BETA Top  5.  BETA SPINE.  See Appendix A
  12.  
  13.    B.  Small Report     Prints out a formatted report to the screen, printer
  14.                         or a disk text file.  The report contains the follow-
  15.                         ing data fields: Title, Star, Category, Year, Rating,
  16.                         Tape#, Starting counter #, and Time.
  17.  
  18.    C.  Large Report     Prints a formatted report to the printer or a disk
  19.                         text file.  The report contains the following data
  20.                         fields: Title, Star, Co-star, Cast, Director, Cat-
  21.                         egory, Year, Rating, Tape#, Starting counter #,
  22.                         Time and Recording Speed.

  26.    D.  Custom Report    You design this report.  You will select from another
  27.                         screen the fields and the length of the fields you
  28.                         want included in your report.

  30. 2.  List To:

  32.    A.  Screen           The report will be listed on your monitor screen.  The
  33.                         large report and tape labels can not be listed to the
  34.                         screen.
  35.  
  36.    B.  Printer          The report will be listed to your printer.  All reports
  37.                         can be listed to your printer.
  38.  
  39.    C.  Text File        If you select this item, you will be prompted for a
  40.                         file name to store the listing on a disk file.  All
  41.                         reports except tape labels can be listed to a text
  42.                         file.

  49. 3.  List:

  51.    A.  All Movies      All movies in your library file will be listed to the
  52.                        output device previously selected.
  53.  
  54.    B.  Some Movies     Only those movies that meet the selection criteria you
  55.                        specify later on the MOVIE SELECTOR screen ( page ..)
  56.                        will be listed to the output device selected.
  57.  
  58. 4.  Sort By:
  59.  
  60.    A.  Title           Report will be listed sorted alphabetically by title.
  61.  
  62.    B.  Star            Report will be listed sorted alphabetically by the
  63.                        star's last names.

  65.    C.  Co-Star         Report will be listed sorted alphabetically by the
  66.                        co-star's last names.

  73.    D.  Director        Report will be listed sorted alphabetically by the
  74.                        director's last names.
  75.  
  76.    E.  Tape #          Reported will be listed sorted alpha-numerically by
  77.                        tape number.
  78. *** Notes ***
  79.  
  80. 1.  If you select (A) Tape labels for report type, you will only be allowed to
  81.     select (B) Printer for list to and (E) Tape # for sort by.
  82.  
  83. 2.  The Large Report cannot be listed to the screen.
  84.  
  85. 3.  Your selection for Sort By may be overridden if you have selected (B)
  86.     List Some Movies.  If you selected List Some Movies, you will go to
  87.     the MOVIE SELECTOR screen after completing the current screen.  If one
  88.     of the fields you list to search on is a key field (ie  title, star, co-
  89.     star, director or tape#), the first key field you list will become the
  90.     default Sort By selection.  By doing this, the search of the library
  91.     file is rapidly speeded up.

  97. E           Edit               Allows you to edit the selections you previous-
  98.                                ly entered.

  100. C          Continue            After you completed your selections this key
  101.                                allows you to have your report listed or
  102.                                will take you to the next screen if required.
  103.  
  104. Q          Quite               This key will return you to the main screen.
  105.  
  106. H          Help                Displays these help screens.
